Highlight of his carrier
I started at FUJITSU Limited in 1991 as a system engineering memeber for B-ISDN, Optical/Cable Access System and worked for some oversea business opportunities such as for the USA “Information and Comunicastion Super Highway” by Al Gore (Vice President at that time) , This position gave me an opportunity to work as a consortium leader where I could learn lots of thigs like working among cross regitonal/country member, those who have different calcure and so on. Then to move to pre-sales and technical marketing team for Wireless Access System (WLL, etc) and Cellular System, joined some bids for such system deals in APAC and worked for the deployment for some projects.
2000 was important year for me as to move to Snaptrack Japan a subsidiary of Qualcomm, famous for Wireless Assisted GPS. At that time, position location in particular in cellular/mobile was getting so important, for instance, it got mandatory like E911 in USA (same for Japan). Worked for all of Japanese MNO’s position location service launch (KDDI/gpsOne, NTT-docomo, Vadafone) , including SECOM’s coco-secome service. After that, moved to Qualcomm Japan practically and worked for new technology marketing such as MediaFLO (broadcasting), DC-HSPA, 4G/LTE, LTE-Advanced and 5G as the modem product marketing lead and carrier/MNO business development lead. I have been in very front in Qualcomm Japan to communicate and negotiate with them for their adoption of QC new technologies, while working with QC direct customers/OEMs for their device development and commercial launch.
As the company aims to diversify the business, my role is expanding to adjecent business such as for AUTOMOTIVE/Connected Cars, IoT and so on (basically “Connected Things”). Then, I got BD and Product Marketing lead responsibility for all of Qualcomm product, thus including Snapdragon high computing with low power, facilitating Spandragon BD effort for AUTO/XR/PC/IoT and so on. In these years, working as the executive team in Qualcomm Japan, making straetgy for Go To Market, leading Business Development and Marketing effort and helping revenue planning & generation and execustion with the sales lead.
